  • Beginning Fused Glass: $140 +$40 Materials
    9AM-1PM on 2 days at Kathy's Los Altos Studio.
    Day 1 - Learn a variety of techniques on 4 small pieces
    Day 2 - Implement own design on 9"x9" plate

  • Fused Glass for Mosaic Artists: $140 + $40 Materials
    9AM-1PM on 2 days at Kathy's Los Altos Studio.
    Fused glass tesserae can add dramatically to mosaic pieces. They allow for additional detail, texture, color and scale. In this class we will cover a variety of innovative ways to use and incorporate fused elements with contemporary or traditional mosaics.
    Day 1 - Learn techniques to create unique pieces to include as focal pieces
    Day 2 - Learn to create tesserae from assorted glass, inc. recycled pieces.
    You will leave with a a bag of fused creations from the class.

  • Family Fusing Workshops
    This is the most popular workshop I offer.
    Typical workshops have 1-2 children and a parent/Aunt/Uncle
    Great way to spend some creative time with the kid(s) and end up with a finished project.
    The projects can accommodate different skill levels and approaches.
  • Studio Time/Project Support
    Working at my studio is an option if you want to borrow tools, and/or have access to advise or help with your project. COE 90 glass is available for purchase. All studio work must be COE 90.
