Much of my work incorporates a sense of place. Here I utilize actual maps as a physical representation of place to explore our collective relationships, memories and history within the context of a location.  We all attach significance to places; we have favorite haunts, repeated paths, sentimental spots, and pivotal locals. Places make us happy, others we miss, some frustrate us or even make us angry, sad, vulnerable or unsafe.

Glass allows me to illustrate some of the mystery and magic associated with a place.  It can have a ghost-like quality that mimics memories and hints at the mystery of the unknown.  Or it can be so intense that it drives the conversation within us.
